Dr. Mel Silberman / Director, Teaching Actively
Dr. Mel Silberman is professor Emeritus of Pyschological Studies in Education at Temple University,where he won its Great Teacher Award. He has an international reputation in the field of active learning. Dr. Silberman conducts active learning seminars for preservice and in-service, adult educators, college instructors and workplace traines in hundreds of educational, governmental, human service, and business organizations. Dr. Silberman is a graduate of Brandeis University and holds a Ph.D. in educational psychology from the University of Chicago.
